I do have to say getting the rings back in this engine is a tad bit more difficult than a regular one don't break em. Make sure you can get the pin and bearings in and then put her back together. Then use the stock 12mm wrist pin to ever so slightly push them in past the wrist pin slot. These will be pressed into the piston on either side past the clip slot.įor this I put them in on either side and used a vice to push them in. Make sure to grind around the outer edge so it goes back in.īeing this is a 10mm pin and bearing and the piston is 12mm we will need some 10mm ID x 12mm OD x 8mm L bushings. The Phantom85 wrist pin is a little bit shorter so you will need to grind it down so you can get the wrist pin clips in. For this one I used an ole FM80 wrist pin and bearings. Get yourself a nice 10mm needle bearing set and wrist pin from any stock china doll. It may take some work but once you get it out you can see it is bit flimsy.
